| SAP | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2019 | 2020 |
In 2019 Sunwater implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its ERP Financial core following Executive Leadership Team and Board approval to move off a heavily customised SAP ERP ECC 6.0 environment. The program scoped Finance, Procurement and Enterprise Asset Management modules and explicitly targeted simplification by shifting from bespoke customisations to standard SAP solutions and from manual to mobile field processes.
The implementation included deployment of SAP Asset Manager late in 2019, a mobile application that leverages the SAP S/4 HANA digital core. A pilot program began in the Bundaberg area and the mobile solution was rolled out in phases over six months, enabling field teams to receive and complete Work Orders and Work Instructions on iPad devices, record measurement readings and time confirmations, capture photos and apply Object Part and Damage codes, and view assets on a map to correctly raise Notifications.
Field data is captured offline and synchronised to SAP S/4 HANA at least daily, producing near real time updates to maintenance requests, equipment history, readings and time confirmations. That synchronized data flow enables Schedulers and Supervisors to action and close work orders more promptly and supports direct creation of maintenance requests from the field. Operational coverage focused on the team responsible for managing and maintaining Sunwater enterprise assets across regional Queensland, beginning with the Bundaberg pilot.
Governance for the change included board level endorsement and executive oversight, significant master data remediation, and ongoing business process adaptations to support mobile workflows. Continuous improvement cycles and periodic upgrades to SAP Asset Manager have been executed, positioning Sunwater as an early adopter and an active contributor within the SAP user community on asset management practices.
Outcomes reported as part of the initiative include faster decision making and work order close out through near real time data flowing into SAP S/4 HANA, travel time savings from direct travel between home and job sites rather than depot visits, reduced paper use and reduced double handling. Explicit operational savings documented include more than 2,500 man hours saved on work instructions, over 1,000 man hours on Notifications and more than 3,000 man hours on Time Confirmations, alongside reduced redundant administrative tasks and elimination of handwritten report transcription.

| PageUp | Legacy | PageUp ATS | Applicant Tracking System | HCM | n/a | 2011 | 2011 |
In 2011, Sunwater implemented PageUp ATS. PageUp ATS, an Applicant Tracking System, is deployed to manage candidate-facing application flows on Sunwater's public careers site and to centralize recruitment activity for the organization.
The implementation of PageUp ATS includes standard Applicant Tracking System capabilities such as online job posting and requisition management, configurable application forms, candidate tracking across stages, interview scheduling and workflow automation, and recruitment reporting. PageUp ATS is used to capture and manage applicant data through the employer branded application form and the PageUp apply endpoint.
The deployment is web-facing and operates on Sunwater's careers presence, providing a candidate intake and tracking layer for HR and Talent Acquisition functions across Sunwater in Australia. The PageUp ATS instance is configured to support hiring managers and HR users, routing applications from the public site into the ATS for review and processing.
Governance for the implementation emphasizes centralized job posting and role based access for HR and hiring managers, with configurable approval and candidate progression workflows to standardize hiring processes. PageUp ATS is the primary Applicant Tracking System supporting Sunwater recruitment operations and career site application management.

| SABRE | Legacy | SabreSonic | Passenger Service Systems | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021 Sunwater implemented SabreSonic, deploying a Passenger Service Systems application to provide core passenger and service operations capability within its ICT environment. The initial implementation focused on embedding SabreSonic into operational workflows and governance structures overseen by the Technology PMO and ICT Delivery function.
SabreSonic was configured to deliver standard Passenger Service Systems capabilities, including reservations and booking workflows, passenger record management, and departure control style functions adapted to Sunwater's operational requirements. Configuration work emphasized booking lifecycle controls, inventory and availability handling, and customer-facing transaction flows consistent with the category's functional terminology.
The SabreSonic deployment operated alongside Sunwater's P3MF tooling and project controls environment, with the Technology PMO and Project Controls Officer supporting the use of Project Online and Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint sites, and SAP for schedule, cost and program reporting. Operational coverage included the Technology PMO, ICT Delivery, and business units accountable for service operations and customer interactions, ensuring alignment between system configuration and operational processes.
Governance and rollout leveraged P3MF processes for ongoing control and forecasting of schedules, costs, progress and risks, with the Project Controls Officer embedding P3MF compliance, preparing Approval Gates, developing Technology Portfolio committee dashboards and Investment committee reports, and liaising with the Enterprise PMO to align standards and templates for continued SabreSonic operations.
