In 2006, SyncHR implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP. The deployment targeted core accounting and financial operations, bringing the organization onto an ERP Financial platform to support a professional services firm of about 100 employees in the United States.
The Oracle NetSuite ERP implementation concentrated on standard financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing and revenue recognition, fixed asset management, cash management, and core financial reporting. The system was configured with a standardized chart of accounts, automated journal posting and recurring billing schedules, approvals for payables and receivables, expense controls, and configurable financial reports to support month end close workflows. Oracle NetSuite ERP was also used to centralize revenue recognition rules and multi period billing common to professional services engagements.
Operational coverage focused on finance, accounting, project finance and procurement functions, with the implementation establishing centralized financial controls and role based permissions to enforce segregation of duties. Governance workstreams included formalizing month end close procedures, standardizing approval chains and financial reporting templates, and embedding the ERP Financial application as the single source for accounting transactions and statutory reporting.
