In 2018, Syncona appointed Citco Fund Services (Guernsey) as Administrator and Citco Custody (UK) as Depositary effective 1 September 2018, supporting NAV, accounting and investor reporting across the UK/Guernsey region. As part of Citco’s fund administration services Syncona used Citco Portfolio Analytics in the Portfolio and Investment Performance and Planning category to provide performance, attribution and risk analytics for investor reporting. Citco Portfolio Analytics produced instrument level performance calculations, multi-asset attribution outputs and risk exposure analysis that aligned with fund accounting feeds and NAV processes.
Technically the Citco Portfolio Analytics capability was embedded within Citco’s administration stack and consumed NAV and accounting data flows from the administrator to create standardized investor reports across the UK and Guernsey reporting nodes. Operational coverage included administrator and depositary interactions, reconciliation checkpoints between accounting ledgers and analytics outputs, and structured distribution of performance and risk reports to investors.
Governance tracked the appointment effective 1 September 2018, with custody oversight by Citco Custody (UK) and administration controls operated by Citco Fund Services. Operational procedures emphasized NAV validation, reconciliations and a single-source analytics feed for performance and risk disclosures used in investor and regulatory communications.
