In 2005 Sytner Group deployed ADP Enterprise HR as its Core HR solution for onsite HR administration at the Mercedes Benz Carlisle location and for centralized HR reporting to head office. The implementation placed ADP Enterprise HR into operational use for absence tracking, holiday and overtime reporting, and employee record maintenance across local administrative teams.
ADP Enterprise HR was used alongside ADP VSB functionality to support operational tasks specific to vehicle intake and stock movements, where users brought cars into stock, pushed lines to WIP, and processed vehicle invoices and credits within the ADP environment. The configuration emphasized employee-level transaction logging and absence reporting, enabling local administrators to produce monthly reports for departmental review.
Operational governance centered on consolidating HR event reporting to head office while day-to-day financial workflows such as sales ledger credit control, purchase ledger reconciliation and petty cash reconciliation remained managed by onsite accounts administrators. The deployment established a clear relationship between Sytner Group ADP Enterprise HR Core HR and the business functions of HR administration and vehicle stock processing at the Carlisle site.

| CDK Global | Legacy | Autoline Drive DMS | Dealership Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2011 | 2011 |
In 2011 Sytner Group implemented Autoline Drive DMS as its primary Dealership Management platform for core dealer operations. The rollout established a centralized Autoline Drive DMS footprint across multiple brand divisions within the group, with vendor support focused on Autoline DMS and related product suites.
Autoline Drive DMS was configured to support standard dealer functional domains, including sales, service workshop scheduling, parts inventory control, and Aftersales workflows, with explicit adoption of Vehicle Health Check inside Autoline. Configuration work emphasized dealer workflow alignment and data model extensions to accommodate manufacturer messaging and vehicle inspection records.
Projects recorded during the deployment included the migration of the Mercedes-Benz and BMW divisions to 9304E NSIP BSIP4 messaging standards, reflecting integration at the OEM data exchange layer. Support for Autoline DMS and related products covered multi-site operations across Sytner Group dealerships, and the deployment integrated dealer-level Aftersales processes with workshop and parts modules to maintain operational continuity.
Governance changes accompanied the technical rollout, notably Aftersales separation of several sites and amalgamation of others to align organizational structure with the Autoline Drive DMS configuration. Implementation activities prioritized change to Aftersales workflows, site-level role mapping, and ongoing support for manufacturer messaging standards and vehicle health check processes.
