The Spotin Platform was deployed on Tasteline's site in Sweden as an eCommerce solution enabling readers to purchase cookbooks directly from recipe articles and from a Spotin enabled curated e-shop, this project is a publisher eCommerce monetization initiative owned by Mathem and aimed at increasing site engagement and revenue.
The implementation scope included content to commerce integration, a publisher e-shop experience and native checkout functionality inferred from the vendor announcement. Functional modules implemented include content commerce linking from articles, a curated e-shop module, and checkout orchestration, configured to operate within the publisher website and editorial workflows. Operational coverage touched editorial, product and commerce functions at Tasteline in Sweden, with governance focused on content tagging, commerce enablement in article templates and purchase orchestration across the site. Tasteline Sweden implemented the Spotin Platform as an eCommerce solution to support publisher monetization and embed transactional flows into recipe content.
