The IT executive led planning, selection, architecture, implementation and ongoing operation for the 250 person nonprofit based in the United States, aligning the ERP Financial deployment with both internal and customer facing information technology services.
The Oracle NetSuite ERP implementation concentrated on core financial modules common to ERP Financial deployments, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing and financial reporting. Architecturally NetSuite was operated as a cloud hosted ERP and integrated with Drupal based content delivery systems and enterprise content management platforms that support a 4.3 million document data repository. The ERP instance was positioned to interoperate with internal and cloud hosted servers and other SaaS applications overseen by the same IT organization, enabling transactional interoperability between finance systems and publishing and content workflows.
Governance and operational ownership remained with the IT executive who retained responsibility for system architecture, integration oversight and day to day operation. Ongoing management focused on configuration governance, change control and access oversight across finance, IT operations and publishing functions to ensure consistent controls and operational continuity for the Oracle NetSuite ERP deployment.
