In 2022 Techniconsult Group deployed Ivanti Neurons for Unified Endpoint Management as its Endpoint Management platform to centralize device control across a 200 employee professional services environment in Florence, Tuscany. The deployment used Ivanti Neurons for Unified Endpoint Management to establish a single control plane for endpoint lifecycle tasks, with explicit operational focus on device onboarding and day to day IT operations.
The implementation emphasized category typical modules including device inventory and asset tracking, automated provisioning and configuration templates, mobile device management and policy enforcement, and remote support capabilities. Administration responsibilities included ongoing use and configuration of Ivanti Neurons alongside an existing MDM platform, Mobile Iron, to manage a mixed estate of Windows 10 and Windows 11 clients, MacOs endpoints, and Android, iOS and iPadOS mobile devices.
Integrations were implemented with Microsoft 365 administration tools to align identity and collaboration workflows, specifically Entra, SharePoint, Teams and Exchange, enabling device access controls and provisioning that tie to corporate identities. Operational coverage extended across IT operations, employee onboarding processes, supplier and hardware procurement coordination, and company telephony management.
Governance and process work focused on role based administration and standardized device configuration for new hires, with a named T Specialist responsible for rollout, daily support, configuration of equipment and research of automation opportunities. The program prioritized workflow automation and cross system synergy to ensure endpoint management procedures matched the needs of individual departments.
