In 2002 TENAPORS Ltd implemented HansaWorld Standard ERP, deploying an eight user multi-user installation to support finance and manufacturing operations. HansaWorld Standard ERP was adopted as an ERP Financial system to consolidate Accounts, Cash Book and Fixed Assets with production planning and logistics.
The implementation configured integrated modules including Accounts, Cash Book, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Logistics, Purchase Orders, Pricing and Production. Production management uses item recipes for over 500 product lines, with each recipe storing required raw material quantities and the direct cost elements for finished items. Direct costs are calculated automatically based on production volume, booked to appropriate accounts and allocated against items.
Indirect cost allocation was addressed by embedding indirect costs such as electricity, salaries and machine depreciation into the recipe cost structure, indirect costs are divided according to production volume and added to direct costs in the recipe. The system also models different machine cost rates for in use and idle states so cost postings reflect operational status.
Implementation and support were provided by HansaWorld certified partner Grasko Ltd, and the solution extended multi-user access so more employees could retrieve data and reports across finance, production, purchasing and logistics. The deployment centralized transactional and production cost control within HansaWorld Standard ERP and automated booking and allocation workflows across the affected business functions.
