CI pipelines used GitHub Actions with Bicep provisioning to enforce environment governance across test, staging, and production tenants, and deployment was anchored in the Sweden Central Microsoft cloud region to satisfy data sovereignty requirements. Governance and safety were embedded across the stack with a layered evaluation approach from Impact AI and Azure AI Foundry, including real time scoring for factuality, tone, and relevance, content blocking, and custom agents tracking engagement, sentiment, and brand alignment. Tracing, annotation, and prompt debugging tools supported iterative tuning of model behavior and orchestration logic, where planning and reflection agents decide whether to retrieve knowledge, recall memory, or ask follow up questions. Explicit outcomes reported include a public Hera.Space portal and a companion that speaks more than 20 languages, synchronizes with live telemetry to translate and contextualize mission data, and is used globally including in classrooms for STEM engagement. The companion was created in a few months and the spacecraft launched in October 2024, and the implementation emphasizes rapid redeployability when telemetry endpoints or Azure OpenAI models change, enabled by the Microsoft Azure AI Foundry based architecture.
