Enverus Legacy Enverus EnergyLink Oil Gas and Chemicals ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2015 2015 In 2015, Texas Petroleum Investment Company implemented Enverus EnergyLink. The deployment focused on accounting led upstream financial operations within the Oil Gas and Chemicals ERP category. Implementation scope included preparation of daily journals covering JIB payments, purchaser payments, incoming wires, accounts receivable adjustments, and lockbox deposits, and processing and tracking all JIB payments in OGSYS and Enverus EnergyLink. Operational users included accounting, revenue staff, engineers, field personnel, and internal and external auditors. Configuration centered on joint interest billing and accounts receivable capabilities, cash and wire tracking, AFE and service order budget approval workflows, and invoice generation for JIB statements. Enverus EnergyLink was configured to assign AFE order numbers, accounts and property numbers and to provide expenditure cost details to engineers and field personnel for job costing and inquiry resolution. Automation supported generation and printing of outbound JIB invoices and daily journal postings to the general ledger. The implementation explicitly integrated activity tracking with OGSYS, with processes executed and reconciled in both OGSYS and Enverus EnergyLink to maintain payout and payment traceability. Operational coverage included processing stop payments on checks, monitoring incoming wires and checks, preparing lockbox deposit records, and responding to interest owner and management inquiries to resolve accounting discrepancies. The system served as a central source for month end financial statement generation and facilitated account closing procedures. Governance and process changes formalized AFE and service order approval authorities, assignment of order and property numbering, and financial database and filing maintenance practices. Staff responsibilities were adjusted to support interaction with auditors and the revenue department, and the rollout included detailed training for accounting assistants to ensure consistent use of Enverus EnergyLink. Ongoing maintenance tasks included recommending and maintaining financial databases and computer software systems.
