| Oracle | QAD Adaptive ERP (ex MFG/PRO) | Oracle E-Business Suite | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, Thales implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial solution. The Oracle E-Business Suite deployment consolidated fragmented ERP applications across Thales Digital Identity and Security, replacing QAD Adaptive ERP formerly MFG/PRO and merging roughly 20 separate applications into a single E-Biz instance. The implementation targeted IT simplification, finance simplification, and global visibility across manufacturing, supply chain planning, procurement, and finance functions. The deployment covered global delivery centers and internal manufacturing and personalization operations within Thales DIS.
Configuration emphasized Oracle E-Business Suite financial modules for intercompany accounting, transfer pricing automation, revenue recognition ledgers, and period close management, coupled with manufacturing and procurement modules to support internal order flow. The project automated intercompany transaction processing and automatic supply requests that route supply to internal or external sites based on customer demand, standardizing intercompany and manufacturing solutions to support complex global supply chains. Oracle E-Business Suite provided traceability of profit back to source for transferred goods and enabled visibility of profitability across operations, companies, geographies, and process steps, allowing delivery centers to take orders and immediately see downstream profitability implications.
The single E-Biz instance eliminated duplicate transaction logging during internal sourcing and streamlined customer change request processing, improving planners' real-time supply visibility of internal orders. Consolidation centralized supplier data and purchase workflows within Oracle E-Business Suite, improving vendor visibility and supporting better financial negotiation during procurement. Standardization of transactions enabled automatic routing of supply requests and supported global manufacturing, personalization, and delivery workflows for card products.
Finance governance was restructured around shared service center implementation and automated intercompany workflows, reducing manual reconciliation and consolidating revenue controllers' activities. The rollout was time-bound with targeted, limited customization to balance standardization and practical business needs, which helped accelerate adoption and maintain global reach. Process automation and transfer pricing automation reduced reliance on manual adjustments and ensured profit traceability back to the originating entity.
Thales reports IT simplification, finance simplification, and improved global visibility as primary benefits and has realized approximately 80% of the projected multi-million euro savings through these measures. Quantified improvements include an 80% reduction in data quality analysis turnaround time, a 90% reduction in manual restatements by revenue controllers, a 60% reduction in intercompany transaction processing time, an 85% effort elimination in systematic revenue recognizing models, and a 25% improvement in period closing timelines, alongside consolidation of 20 applications into Oracle E-Business Suite. Thales DIS plans to shift Oracle toward cloud and SaaS, first migrating to IaaS and then progressively moving modules to SaaS as Oracle’s SaaS maturity allows, while maintaining visibility across a modular IaaS to SaaS trajectory.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday Absence Management | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, Thales implemented Workday Absence Management as part of its Absence and Leave Management capabilities. The rollout focused on embedding Workday Absence Management within the companys HR tooling to govern time off workflows and absence entitlement logic across HR stakeholder groups.
The implementation encompassed configuration work across multiple Workday modules, notably Time Off and Absence, HCM, Advanced Compensation, Talent and Performance, Recruitment, Security, Extend, and Reporting. Workday Absence Management configurations emphasized coherent touchpoints between these modules to support leave recording, eligibility rules, approval routing, and reporting for absence trends.
Operational responsibility included HR, talent management, compensation, recruitment, and security teams, with a Workday SME operating from Paris et périphérie to provide ongoing governance and subject matter guidance. Cross-functional collaboration was used to design and implement coherent Workday solutions, aligning absence workflows with compensation and performance processes and centralizing reporting activities within Workday.
Governance and control were formalized under the guidance of the Workday Service Owner, with the Workday SME supervising configuration, designing security for ongoing projects, and leading Workday reporting activities. Process changes prioritized configuration coherence and module synergies, with sustained SME engagement to maintain role-based security, configuration standards, and reporting governance for Absence and Leave Management.

| Equifax | Legacy | Equifax LawLogix Edge | Case Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019, Thales implemented Equifax LawLogix Edge to centralize relocation case handling and support internal movements across domestic and international assignments. The deployment targeted Case Management capabilities to coordinate destination services, moving vendors, and visa processing while aligning with enterprise HR and mobility requirements.
Equifax LawLogix Edge was configured to deliver structured case intake, visa case management, vendor orchestration, document management, workflow automation, and auditable case histories. Configuration emphasized case-level workflow orchestration and document routing to standardize multi-step relocation processes and ensure consistent case status tracking across teams.
The implementation integrated with core HRIS and benefits systems to audit and reconcile employee data, specifically Workday, ADP Workforce, Fidelity, and LawLogix to validate personal, payroll, and benefits records against relocation case data. Operational coverage centered on HR and Global Mobility functions, enabling coordinated handoffs between relocation coordinators, vendor management, and immigration specialists.
Governance was organized around data accuracy audits and case-level audit trails, with role-based access and structured validation checkpoints to maintain consistency between Case Management records and upstream HR and benefits systems. The program emphasized standardized vendor onboarding and visa workflow controls to reduce manual reconciliation between systems.
