The Citco Group Legacy Citco Portfolio Analytics Portfolio and Investment Performance and Planning Investment Management n/a 2010 2010
In 2010, The Lion Fund Limited appointed Citco Fund Services (Curaçao) N.V. as its Administrator effective 1 January 2010 to provide fund administration, NAV calculation and registrar and transfer agent services in the Cayman Islands. As part of Citco’s broader fund administration offering, use of Citco Portfolio Analytics in the Portfolio and Investment Performance and Planning category is inferred to support portfolio performance measurement, exposure analysis and investor reporting for the fund. Deployment followed an administrator managed analytics model, with Citco Portfolio Analytics operating alongside Citco’s NAV calculation and registrar processes to ingest position and valuation feeds for performance attribution, time weighted and money weighted return calculations, and exposure dashboards. Functional capabilities implemented are inferred to include performance attribution, benchmarking, holdings level attribution, exposure analytics and standardized investor reporting templates, aligned to fund accounting and transfer agent workflows. Operational scope was confined to The Lion Fund Limited in the Cayman Islands, supporting fund accounting, performance reporting and investor communications for the ten person fund, while governance centralized administration and reporting ownership with Citco Fund Services to standardize reconciliation and administrator sign off on NAV and investor statements.
