| EtaPRO LLC | Legacy | EtaPRO APR | Asset Performance Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2013 | 2013 | In 2013, The Power Generation Company of Trinidad and Tobago deployed EtaPRO APR for Asset Performance Management. The deployment focused on strengthening corporate asset management and reliability capabilities across operations, maintenance, and engineering, with the objective of formalizing an Asset Integrity Management program and a Reliability and Availability Improvement Program. EtaPRO APR was configured to support condition monitoring, predictive indications, equipment health diagnostics, and equipment key performance indicators. Functional configuration emphasized condition monitoring workflows for generators, transformers and switchyards, predictive analytics to surface degradation signals, and visualization and analytics layers to present asset performance characteristics, with EtaPRO APR used as the central application for those capabilities. Integrations consolidated telemetry and work management data, the implementation integrated EtaPRO APR with OSI PI software and IBM Maximo along with other data historians and maintenance management systems to produce business intelligence for decision making. The integration scope included time series visualization, condition data ingestion, and alignment of maintenance work orders to condition alerts to support reliability-driven planning. Governance and process changes were instituted alongside the technical rollout, the program developed and implemented an asset management and reliability policy aligned to the ISO 55000 series, conducted Asset Management Best Practices reviews, and delivered training in Root Cause Analysis and Reliability Centered Maintenance. Work management processes were reviewed through the Maximo Utilization Review Team, standard operating procedures and an Operator Care program were advanced, and KPIs were rolled out to align production and profit level goals with maintenance activities. The implementation produced sustained capabilities rather than quantified outcomes in the source, including visualization and analytics capabilities built on OSI PI and EtaPRO APR, condition monitoring best practices for manual and automated assessments, and technical leadership in asset health diagnostics such as EMI studies and generator protection and fault level analysis. The program also used EtaPRO APR outputs to inform PM program adjustments intended to detect and prevent identified causes of lost production. | |
