| Rosnet | Legacy | Rosnet | Retail Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015 The Rose Group implemented Rosnet as its Retail Management application to support restaurant operations and centralized HRIS coordination. Rosnet was deployed to manage operational data flows and to serve as a core system for payroll-related reporting across more than 65 center locations and for bi-weekly payroll processing covering over 5,000 multi-state employees while corporate functions were staffed by approximately 350 employees.
Implementation work concentrated on configuring Rosnet to capture restaurant operations data and HRIS employee information, and to generate payroll registers and bi-weekly payroll expense reports for the Accounting department. Functional responsibilities included year-end reconciliation, W-2 processing and adjustments, calculation of vacation accruals and termination payouts, and issuance of manual checks and bonuses, reflecting Rosnet usage in both operations and payroll-adjacent workflows.
The deployment integrated Rosnet with multiple external systems that were explicitly managed as part of the environment, including Talent Reef onboarding, Ceridian Dayforce payroll processes, Apple related feeds and the point of sale system. The program identified and corrected feed failures among those four systems, improving the stability of data transfers between Rosnet and onboarding, payroll, and POS sources, and included ongoing troubleshooting as the primary escalation for Ceridian-related issues.
Operational governance was formalized through documented procedures and a payroll department manual, and through a small team structure with supervision of a payroll coordinator. Process controls extended to preparing and distributing payroll registers to over 65 center locations, addressing government tax notices, and reviewing quarterly and annual federal, state and local filings to ensure compliance across multi-state operations.
Explicit outcomes reported during the engagement include identification and correction of data feed failures to optimize end-to-end processing across Rosnet and connected systems, consistent preparation of bi-weekly payroll expense reports for Accounting, and centralization of HRIS data management and payroll reconciliation workflows. The implementation emphasized process documentation and role-based escalation to sustain operations and support ongoing payroll and tax reporting activities.
