Configuration work included purchase order generation, EDI order submission to vendors, and verification of incoming Order Confirmations, and ProjectMatrix was used with additional vendor specifications through export and import of SIF files into ECi DDMSPlus to standardize product and specification data. Operational coverage included inside and outside sales, the Furniture Department, purchasing agents, and project managers responsible for space planning and installations. Governance and process changes documented during the rollout included creation of a purchasing procedure manual, beta testing and troubleshooting of the DDMSPlus upgrade, and staff training to adopt the new Dealership Management workflows.
