In 2018, Thynk Group implemented ClearTile Inventory Management. ClearTile Inventory Management was adopted to support showroom operations and administrative inventory control for the 37 person Australian distribution business, with use cases focused on purchase orders, stock replenishment, order processing, and weekly builder reports.
Operational use was concentrated among administration assistants and showroom consultants, who executed order entry, maintained adequate stock levels, placed purchase orders, and prepared tiles, timber, and carpet samples as part of customer consultations. Functional workflows implemented included purchase order creation and follow up, stock adjustments and restocking, transactional recording of incoming and outgoing materials, and generation of weekly builder reports and sales performance data for management review. Staff also used SmartSheet as a parallel record filing and reporting tool while ClearTile handled core inventory transactions.
Rollout and governance emphasized alignment between showroom consultation workflows, supplier liaison, and builder coordination, with administration and management responsible for ongoing tracking and reporting of KPIs. The ClearTile Inventory Management deployment supported day to day customer order processing, supplier PO verification, and coordination of site and stock issues through consistent database updates and documented operational procedures.
