In 2010, Tidewater implemented Oracle PeopleSoft ERP as its ERP Financial system. The deployment centralized core finance and accounting functions, positioning Oracle PeopleSoft ERP to manage general ledger control, financial close orchestration, and statutory reporting workflows.
Configuration and functional design work emphasized standard ERP Financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management and Fixed Assets. Teams restructured the chart of accounts and implemented intercompany accounting controls, period close automation patterns, voucher processing rules, and financial reporting templates within Oracle PeopleSoft ERP.
Governance was led by an internal Team Lead in PeopleSoft ERP who managed requirements mapping, configuration oversight, system and user acceptance testing, and cutover coordination. That Team Lead role established centralized functional ownership, approval gates for configuration changes, and end user training for finance and accounting teams.
Operational coverage focused on Tidewater finance and accounting operations, with ongoing responsibilities for configuration governance, period close stabilization, and release management for Oracle PeopleSoft ERP.

In 2015, Tidewater implemented Oracle PeopleSoft HCM as the centerpiece of an HR Stabilization Project focused on its Core HR application footprint. The effort explicitly targeted stabilization and platform hardening while addressing existing HCM and FSCM environments that were running PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 and PeopleTools 8.50.
The technical scope included an in-place PeopleTools upgrade from 8.50 to 8.52, followed by the sequential application of all available Maintenance Packs and Bundles up to Bundle 26. Workstreams covered bundle testing, configuration validation and regression testing across PeopleSoft HCM components to restore supported platform levels and consistent runtime behavior.
Deployment architecture was standardized around WebLogic 10gR3 for the application server tier and Tuxedo 11gR1 for transaction processing, and the program also executed a physical datacenter move to relocate the runtime environment. The datacenter migration was coordinated with the PeopleTools and bundle rollout to minimize configuration drift between environments.
Governance for the HR Stabilization Project was organized as an internal program with staged release sequencing, platform patch orchestration and post upgrade validation cycles. Operational coverage emphasized HR administration and the interdependent finance supply chain management administration, with process controls introduced around patch windows, testing sign off and cutover coordination.

In 2015 Tidewater implemented ABS NS Maintenance Manager as its Enterprise Asset Management system, deploying the application to manage maintenance across its offshore vessel operations. The deployment covered vessel-side systems and shore-based regional and area offices that provide global technical support and maintenance oversight.
ABS NS Maintenance Manager was configured to run core EAM functions including work order management, preventive and corrective maintenance scheduling, and a centralized maintenance routines library that supported writing and standardizing vessel equipment procedures. The application also supported KPI and management reporting for vessel maintenance, condition monitoring workflows, tracking of stacked fleet status, and monitoring of the fleetwide lube oil analyst program. Technical staff monitored the Computer Based Maintenance Program NS5 as part of routine operations while reviewing major work orders.
Operational governance emphasized R and M specialist review of Major WOs, routine creation and approval of maintenance routines, and distribution of KPI reports to regional stakeholders. Support processes included technical support to regional and area offices around the world and liaison activities with major equipment manufacturers to coordinate repairs and technical information.
