Oracle Legacy Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial ERP n/a 2015 2015
In 2015 Timex Group implemented Oracle E-Business Suite to consolidate core ERP Financial and supply chain finance workflows across the enterprise. The initiative focused on centralizing transactional finance and order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report capabilities under a unified Oracle E-Business Suite deployment. The implementation encompassed a broad set of functional modules, including Order Management, Accounts Receivables, Inventory, Purchasing, Accounts Payables, General Ledger, Cost Management, Sub-Ledger Accounting, e-Business Tax, Advanced Pricing, and AME. Oracle Cloud components for Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Record to Report were also referenced as part of the solution landscape to align cloud-based process flows with on-premise Oracle E-Business Suite modules. Architecturally the program was run from an Enterprise PMO with a single point of contact model, combining onsite and offshore delivery teams and coordination with the Global Shared Services IT organization. The project manager provided solution architecture and design oversight, and supervised development and implementation activities across technical and functional scrum teams, ensuring alignment between enterprise finance and supply chain domains. Rollout governance used a detailed multi-phase task plan with major milestone targets, task durations, and resource planning for internal teams and external consultants on shore and off shore. The execution plan included Conference Room Pilots, user acceptance testing, and structured user training, with the Project Manager accountable for end-to-end delivery and stakeholder engagement across senior leadership, business users, and the implementation teams.
