In 2019 Tobys Sports implemented Retail Pro as its Point Of Sale to centralize store transaction processing and master data maintenance at its Pasig, Philippines site. The Retail Pro implementation focused on store-level POS functions, barcode monitoring, customer and employee master records, and support for manually added sales reconciliation.
Configuration emphasized item and price management within the RPRO database, with explicit operational duties for data encoding of new customers and employees, price and cost updates, and generation of sales reports. Retail Pro was used to host a barcode monitoring workflow and a manually added sales template, and the implementation included quote preparation and quantity adjustment processes tied into broader retail operations.
Integrations are explicit with a NAV system for item uploads and price or cost updates, and with external clients through prepared master lists in spreadsheet form for product posting. Operational coverage extended to inventory and periodic physical inventory assistance across QII stores, and workflows required coordination with Accounting for quantity adjustments and with HR for employee access and deletions.
Governance and runbook responsibilities were assigned to a System Support Staff role that performed daily data encoding, verification of manually added sales against store-submitted barcode monitoring forms, preparation of barcode memos, and acted as reliever for NAV or RPRO issues. The support role was staffed as a full time position with a posted compensation range of ₱15,000.00 to ₱16,000.00 per month, with the job posting closed five years ago.
