In 2019, TOG24 began implementation of Oracle NetSuite ERP as a core ERP Financial platform, with engagement starting in November 2019 and a go live delivered in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. The engagement encompassed retail and e commerce channels and was executed for a UK based retail business of roughly 200 employees, positioning Oracle NetSuite ERP as the central system for transactional financial control and operational orchestration.
Oracle NetSuite ERP was configured to manage core financial management functions including general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable, order management and inventory control, with configuration emphasis on retail commerce workflows and warehouse orchestration. The implementation included setup of standard ERP Financial controls and order to cash processes, and configuration work to reconcile point of sale and online order flows into a single financial ledger.
The implementation integrated Oracle NetSuite ERP with Waerlinx for warehouse orchestration, Xstore for in store point of sale, and Shopify for online storefront operations, alongside middleware and channel management tools such as Channel Unity, Quickborn, Head In The Clouds Dev and Patchworks, plus a range of additional third party integrations. These integrations created an integrated transaction pipeline from store and ecommerce channels into inventory and financial ledgers, enabling consolidated financial posting and operational visibility across retail sites and online channels.
Governance and operational ownership shifted as the consultant continued self employed through June 2020 and then joined TOG24 IT on 1 Feb 2021 to exploit the capabilities of the new systems and to deliver more benefits. Operational coverage includes finance, retail operations, ecommerce and IT, with ongoing configuration and process work focused on maximizing the integrated Oracle NetSuite ERP ERP Financial platform for cross functional retail operations.
