In 2005 Tomoe Corporation implemented TOKAI OneOffice Email Security as part of a broader TOKAI OneOffice Mail and OneOffice Mail Storage deployment in Japan. The deployment targeted reduced server management costs and enabled webmail access for widely distributed construction site teams and subcontractors.
TOKAI OneOffice Email Security provided Secure Email Gateways (SEGs) capabilities including gateway level filtering, spam and malware protection, policy based message handling, and integration with archiving through OneOffice Mail Storage. The configuration emphasized webmail access and message retention to support traceability and audit requirements for field communications.
The solution was integrated with TOKAI OneOffice Mail and OneOffice Mail Storage to unify mail flow, web based client access, and centralized archiving for construction site operations. Operational coverage focused on IT and communications for field staff and subcontractor users across Tomoe Corporation project sites in Japan.
Rollout completed in May 2005 and included centralization of email operations under the TOKAI OneOffice services. The implementation reduced operational workload for Tomoe Corporation IT staff and improved remote access for field and subcontractor users.
