In 2009, TransCard implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP to centralize its finance and accounting platform. The deployment positioned Oracle NetSuite ERP as the primary system for ERP Financial operations at TransCard, serving core business finance functions for the United States based banking and financial services firm.
The implementation focused on standard ERP Financial modules, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, fixed asset accounting, billing and financial reporting, with configuration of a consolidated chart of accounts and role based access controls. Transactions and close workflows were configured to support month end financial processes and audit trail requirements, and the Oracle NetSuite ERP instance was tuned for the scale of a 100 person finance organization.
The NetSuite deployment was extended with a SuiteCloud integration to support Xpress Paycard SuiteApp functionality, linking card processing related transaction records into the Oracle NetSuite ERP ledger. Governance emphasized finance led rollout and workflow ownership, with approval routing and system audit controls governing accounting entries and reconciliations.
