| SAP | Legacy | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2007 | 2007 |
In 2007, Transcom implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its core ERP Financial system to centralize financial ledgers and to provide a foundational transactional backbone for logistics and production interfaces. SAP ERP ECC 6.0 appears in the implementation record alongside an enhancement stack referenced as EHP 7.1, indicating applied support packages and stabilization work for the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 environment.
The deployment configured standard ERP Financial capabilities, including core general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, and controlling workflows consistent with the ERP Financial category. Configuration work also accommodated production integration points, aligning manufacturing and shop floor data flows with SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to support goods movements and inventory valuation within financial postings.
Integrations were implemented between SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and warehouse and logistics systems, explicitly including a LogisPLUS warehouse management system, LaderaumOptimierung load space optimization, and yard management functions. Physical automation and device integrations are documented, covering forklift terminals and scanners, access barriers, pagers, chip card readers, and PLC controlled conveyor technology, with interfaces to exchange inventory, goods receipt and shipment status, and execution confirmations with SAP ERP ECC 6.0.
Project scope and IT system architecture work addressed end to end warehouse operations and operational control layers, positioning SAP ERP ECC 6.0 within a broader logistics architecture ahead of later SAP EWM and SAP TM initiatives. Governance activity focused on aligning transactional finance processes with operational execution, establishing the interface and data ownership patterns required for coordinated financial postings and warehouse execution.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP HCM (HR) | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Transcom implemented SAP HCM (HR) as its Core HR solution. The SAP HCM (HR) deployment focused on centralizing HR and payroll processes while aligning workforce management workflows across the organization.
Configuration work included payroll administration, absence management, personal accounts and adherence tracking, together with Workforce Optimization configuration and a mobile application for scheduling and time capture. Security in user access control and data validation routines were implemented to protect HR and payroll data, and the implementation provided operational support for resource planners and schedulers.
The program established secure data flows between Workforce Management systems and SAP Finance and SAP HCM to support payroll, absence and cost interfaces. Business Intelligence, internal and external reporting, group reporting and invoicing workflows were integrated to feed HR and finance processes, reinforcing end to end data consistency across systems. Operational coverage emphasized Transcom North Europe, spanning Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia across 12 sites and more than 5,000 employees.
Governance and rollout were coordinated by the regional Operations Improvement Team, which managed change requests, software security and configuration, and provided Six Sigma support to Operations, HR, Finance and Sales. WFM end user training and regional representation in global projects were used to embed operational knowledge and maintain governance for ongoing HR and workforce processes.
