In 2019 TranscribeMe partnered with Speechmatics to deploy Speechmatics as a Speech Recognition AI solution supporting its transcription and research services. The engagement established a hybrid ASR and human transcription workflow tailored for high volume research and enterprise transcription needs.
The implementation configured Speechmatics for automated first pass transcription, using confidence scoring to route segments into a human verification queue while keeping human verification in the loop. Functional capabilities implemented included automated first accuracy tuning, workflow orchestration for higher throughput, and process-level controls to prioritize human review where required.
Operational coverage targeted transcription, research, and media workflows globally, servicing enterprise accounts with high volume pipelines. Governance and process changes defined review thresholds based on confidence scores, operationalized automated first routing, and embedded human verification checkpoints to support rapid scale.
TranscribeMe’s use of Speechmatics delivered higher automated first accuracy and faster turnaround while retaining human verification in the workflow, enabling rapid scaling of transcription volumes. Speechmatics became the central Speech Recognition AI engine for TranscribeMe’s transcription and research business functions.
