In 2019, Transhut implemented Bridgestone Webfleet to monitor vehicle location and driving behaviour for its refrigerated long haul fleet in Poland. The deployment is categorized under Fleet Management and was oriented toward operational visibility and fuel management for long distance refrigerated trailer operations.
The Bridgestone Webfleet implementation leveraged vehicle tracking and fuel consumption reporting capabilities to collect telematics and driver behaviour data, configured to aggregate trip, route and fuel information for validation workflows. Bridgestone Webfleet was instrumented to support analysis of tyre performance, enabling side by side comparison of fuel use before and after fitment of Bridgestone Ecopia trailer tyres.
Operational coverage focused on Transhut fleet operations across Poland, with the system impacting fleet operations, fuel management and driver safety processes. Governance centered on configuring reporting and validation workflows to confirm tyre-related savings, and the validation program recorded a measured 3.7% fuel reduction associated with the Bridgestone Ecopia trailer tyres.
