In 2020, Turning Point deployed Oracle Field Service Cloud (ex TOA ETAdirect) on Oracle Cloud to manage appointment scheduling and street-level response for its clinical workforce. Oracle Field Service Cloud was implemented as a core Field Service Management capability to allocate addiction counselors, orchestrate visits, and support mobile access from internet-enabled emergency vans.
Turning Point configured Oracle Field Service Cloud to manage appointment scheduling for addiction counselors, using automated scheduling and resource allocation to ensure skilled clinicians are dispatched efficiently. The deployment leverages Field Service Management workflows for scheduling, routing, and mobile workforce enablement so clinicians can receive assignments, update case status, and access client summaries in the field.
Oracle Field Service Cloud is deployed alongside Oracle CX Service, Oracle Intelligent Advisor, Oracle Digital Assistant, Oracle Live Experience Cloud, and Oracle Content Management to synchronize client records, triage logic, chatbot interactions, video engagement, and protocol distribution. Staff access combined client summaries and treatment records from clinics and internet-enabled emergency vans, enabling on-the-spot interventions and remote clinician interactions by phone, text, chat, or video.
Governance and operational continuity are supported through Oracle Content Management driven protocol updates distributed to clinicians nationwide, and Oracle Intelligent Advisor driven matching to appropriate treatment programs to speed referrals. As an explicit outcome of the integrated Oracle Cloud CX deployment, Turning Point shortened patient wait times from about four weeks to as little as two days, and staff can immediately access consolidated client records to diagnose and respond whether clients are in clinic or living on the streets.
