In 2019 TÜV Rheinland implemented SAP S/4 HANA as an ERP Financial platform, undertaking a technical transformation to the SAP HANA database. The program targeted global finance, accounting, and master data management across TÜV Rheinland's worldwide operations.
The implementation of SAP S/4 HANA centered on introducing the Business Partner model and harmonizing customer and supplier master records, accompanied by the parallel rollout of a global master data management capability. A worldwide uniform chart of accounts was implemented and the system was converted to the new general ledger, aligning financial master data and accounting structures with SAP S/4 HANA requirements.
Deployment used the BLUEFIELD ™ approach, consolidating four SAP clients and merging them in two roll-out waves. Two technical system migrations to SAP S/4 HANA were executed over single-weekend cutovers, reflecting a staged client consolidation and cutover sequencing across the program.
Governance and process work focused on centralizing master data ownership and standardizing client configurations, which required harmonized accounting and master data processes across regions and business units. The implementation positioned TÜV Rheinland SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial as the core platform for finance, accounts receivable and payable, and global master data governance.

In 2019, TÜV Rheinland implemented CleverConnect as its Candidate Relationship Management solution to run employee referrals across its HR organization. The deployment centralized multi-channel sourcing and connected talent pools to SAP SuccessFactors, positioning CleverConnect as a single source of truth for talent data within global recruiting operations.
The CleverConnect implementation included employee referral workflow automation, talent pool management, referral tracking and candidate engagement capabilities typical of Candidate Relationship Management platforms. Configuration focused on orchestrating multi-channel sourcing flows into unified candidate pipelines, enabling consistent CRM database records and automated outreach sequences for referred and sourced candidates.
Integration architecture explicitly included a connection to SAP SuccessFactors to synchronize candidate and talent pool records with core recruiting and HR processes. Operational scope covered TÜV Rheinlands global HR and recruiting teams, consolidating referrals, external sourcing channels and internal talent pools into a single CRM-driven recruiting fabric.
Governance and process adjustments centered on using CleverConnect as the authoritative talent repository to standardize referral program controls and candidate handoffs into SuccessFactors. The solution became the enterprise single source of truth for talent data and delivered stated hiring outcomes, with about 1 in 5 referrals leading to a hire and measurable process efficiencies.

In 2017, TÜV Rheinland implemented Cisco Webex Meetings on its public website to address Audio Video and Web Conferencing requirements. The deployment uses Cisco Webex Meetings as a cloud delivered conferencing layer, enabling browser based join flows, embedded meeting links on web pages, and web initiated session starts for external visitors. The implementation is focused on external facing meeting flows delivered through the website rather than solely internal conferencing endpoints. Cisco Webex Meetings supplies standard Audio Video and Web Conferencing capabilities including multi party video, screen sharing, recording, meeting controls, and participant management which are used to support client interactions initiated from the site. Operational coverage centers on digital channels and customer engagement teams who manage web embedding and session provisioning, with Cisco Webex Meetings serving as the primary web based conferencing interface for external engagements on TÜV Rheinland’s website.
