BlackRock Legacy BlackRock eFront Invest GP Portfolio and Investment Management Investment Management n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, TZP Group deployed BlackRock eFront Invest GP as its Portfolio and Investment Management application. The deployment provisioned a GP platform to manage fund and deal data and to surface an investor portal on the TZP Group website. BlackRock eFront Invest GP was configured to support core portfolio management workflows aligned with the Portfolio and Investment Management category, including fund and asset level data modeling, performance analytics, capital call and distribution lifecycle orchestration, and investor reporting. The implementation leveraged configurable data schemas and templated reporting, and applied role based access to segregate duties between investment, finance, and investor relations functions. Operational coverage included the investment team for portfolio oversight, finance for fund accounting inputs and reconciliations, and investor relations via the website exposed investor portal. Public facing use on the corporate site indicates integration points for secure investor access and distribution of investor documents through the eFront portal. Governance emphasized a centralized data model, role based permissioning, GP approval workflows and audit trails to standardize fund reporting and operational controls across the firm. Rollout responsibility was organized between investment operations and finance to maintain a single source of truth for capital activity and investor communications.
