In 2022, UDig implemented Fetcher Talent Sourcing to automate top of funnel recruiting for its two person recruiting team and meet aggressive hiring goals. UDig used Fetcher Talent Sourcing to continuously populate tech talent pipelines and deliver curated batches of sourced candidates to recruiters twice weekly, shifting sourcing from a manual cadence to an automated feed.
The deployment emphasized Fetcher Talent Sourcing functional capabilities such as automated candidate discovery, scheduled batch delivery, one click addition of profiles into outreach sequences, and a Directory for talent pooling and nurture campaigns. The team configured candidate batches to align with role profiles, and leveraged built in email sequencing to execute follow ups, which Matt Hill notes produced higher response rates than prior InMail outreach.
Integrations were implemented to accelerate feedback and sourcing velocity, including a Slack integration to share and annotate candidate batches and a Chrome Extension to capture LinkedIn profiles directly into Fetcher pipelines. The platform was operated as a recruiter facing sourcing layer that fed candidates into existing hiring workflows, enabling the two person talent acquisition function to maintain pipeline continuity even on interview heavy days. When renewal decisions arrived in early 2023, UDig discontinued its LinkedIn Recruiter seat and consolidated sourcing through Fetcher.
Governance and workflow changes centered on an initial review gate and feedback loop, hiring managers receiving the first batch of candidates to confirm search parameters before broader outreach. Recruiters used Slack for rapid candidate triage and one click sequence enrollment to standardize outreach cadence, freeing time to focus on interview scoring and process improvements. Plans were made to expand nurture campaigns and reengage the talent pool via Fetcher Directory features.
Outcomes reported by UDig were explicit, including an estimated 8 to 10 hours saved per week for the recruiting team, a 38 percent interested rate from candidates sourced through Fetcher, and three successful tech hires in the year following implementation. Fetcher Talent Sourcing became the primary sourcing tool for UDig, enabling sustained top of funnel activity while shifting recruiter effort toward higher value hiring activities.

UDig implemented Fetcher Smart Recruitment Analytics as an Analytics and BI solution to centralize outreach activity and sourcing metrics. The deployment emphasized automated outreach sequences and real time dashboard metrics for candidate interest and engagement, enabling recruiters to monitor a 38 percent interested rate through pipeline visualizations and outreach performance panels.
The implementation was scoped to the recruiting team for tech hiring and operationalized outreach and measurement workflows across sourcing activities. Governance changes included embedding dashboard-driven sourcing cadence and routine review of outreach metrics to prioritize candidate follow up, and rollout proceeded through the recruiting organization after the March 2022 partnership. The engagement delivered explicit outcomes of saving the team eight to ten hours per week and achieving a 38 percent interested rate from candidates, as reported in the customer case study.
