Configuration emphasized workflow automation, simultaneous approval flows, document sharing during intake, and audit trails that capture every workflow activity and data change. Operational coverage was firmwide, spanning intake, approvals, and research activities across practice groups, using a shared platform so approvals and research could run in parallel. The architecture provided centralized status tracking and reporting, enabling stakeholders to view the progress of file openings and the state of required data across matters in real time. Governance and process control were formalized through mandatory fields, audit and tracking capabilities, and report generation used for process analysis. Outcomes reported by the firm included reduced manual data entry errors, unrivaled visibility into workflow status, the ability to analyze and redesign processes based on tracked activity, and faster qualification and acceptance of clients and matters using Aderant Expert Case in the Case Management category.
