In 2013, Unimed Seguradora S.A. started a greenfield P&C insurance operation in Brazil and selected eBaoTech GeneralSystem Suite as its core Insurance ERP to launch and support both consumer and commercial lines. The choice of eBaoTech GeneralSystem Suite positioned the application as the central platform for policy lifecycle management, product configuration, and back-office processing for the new P&C business.
The implementation emphasized core Insurance ERP functional modules, including policy administration, underwriting workflow configuration, rating and product catalog management, billing and premium accounting, and claims intake and management. eBaoTech GeneralSystem Suite was configured to support end-to-end policy processes, from quotation and underwriting through issuance, endorsements, billing and claims handling, with configurable rules and product modeling capabilities aligned to P&C requirements.
Deployment was organized around a centralized core application serving the greenfield P&C operation and covering business functions such as policy administration, underwriting, billing, claims, and product management for Seguros Unimed. Operational scope targeted insurer-facing workflows and standardized back-office processing to enable new product launches and consistent policy administration across consumer and commercial portfolios.
Governance and rollout centered on product governance and rule-based underwriting controls, establishing configurability to accelerate product introductions in the Brazilian market and assigning operational ownership to Seguros Unimed's P&C business units. The eBaoTech GeneralSystem Suite implementation created a single Insurance ERP foundation to support ongoing growth of the insurer's P&C lines.
