ERPapps designed and developed the Sales and Billing portal on an open-source Java platform, integrating SAP Services to provide direct connectivity to SAP ERP ECC 6.0. Implemented functional capabilities included real-time order creation and confirmation, product pricing validation, stock level verification, and exact customer billing document reprints, aligning portal workflows with core financial and order management processes.
The solution architecture used open-source Java for license free flexibility, with SAP Services enabling synchronous communication to the core SAP system to maintain transactional consistency between the portal and SAP ERP ECC 6.0. Operational coverage focused on sales and billing functions across Uniphar Group, centralizing order processing, pricing, inventory checks, and billing within ERP Financial workflows for retail pharmacies, hospitals and veterinary clinics.
Governance and ongoing delivery were structured as a continuing partnership with ERPapps to extend the site’s offerings and improve user experience, supporting rollout iterations and platform responsiveness. The site won approval from Uniphar’s customers and suppliers, and the implementation is being iterated to support growth in online sales and brand recognition.
