| Sage | Legacy | Sage 500 ERP (formerly MAS 500) | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017 United Auto Credit implemented Sage 500 ERP (formerly MAS 500) to consolidate core accounting operations on an ERP Financial platform. The deployment focused on Accounting Operations and the Collateral sub-department, supporting general ledger, tax support, fixed asset accounting, and investor reporting workflows.
Sage 500 ERP was configured to manage General Ledger activity and fixed asset workflows, including month end journal entries for Fixed Assets, Prepaids, GAP Cancellations, and Reclasses. The system was used for account reconciliations, maintaining and updating schedules, and supporting month end trial balance review and board package Q&A processes.
The implementation included SQL Server based custom query and reporting work using SQL Server Management Studio to research clearing accounts, update schedules, and automate recurring reconciliation tasks, creating a database-level reporting layer tied to Sage 500 ERP. Operational tax and reporting processes were onboarded to the application, including preparation and submission of 1099-DIV, 1099-INT, and 1099-MISC to investors, executives, and attorneys, and provisioning quarterly Sales Tax Return Support for a contracted CPA firm.
Process and governance work accompanied the technical rollout, with documented procedures for Accounting Operations and Collateral created to support auditors and internal control. A formalized process for updating and reconciling clearing account schedules was established and accounting staff received structured guidance for researching and resolving clearing account variances, and the quarterly tax support arrangement produced a reported departmental return of $30,000 to $50,000 per quarter.

| Fiserv | Legacy | Fiserv Signature Bank Platform | Core Banking | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2010 | 2011 |
In 2010 United Auto Credit implemented Fiserv Signature Bank Platform as its Core Banking system. The deployment positioned the Fiserv Signature Bank Platform at the center of deposit and loan processing workflows for the firm, with configuration and operational control on the IBM iSeries AS400 environment.
Implementation work included AS400 iSeries subject matter expertise and dedicated iSeries administration, combined with custom programming both interfacing and non-interfacing with Fiserv Signature Bank Platform. Custom code was retrofitted to align with Fiserv-CBS IBM iSeries package base code releases, and all RPG III programs were converted to RPGLE as part of the application modernization and maintainability effort. The Fiserv Signature UI was implemented using HATS and Websphere on the iSeries to replace an existing Windows server graphical client, consolidating front-end access into the iSeries application stack.
Operational scope covered consolidation and migration activities across retail banking operations, including merging ten individual banks into a single operating entity and conversion from Jack Henry to Fiserv Signature CBS. Project management was provided for Fiserv release implementations and third party product interfaces, and operational oversight and support were maintained for ongoing production stability. Security and access governance were addressed through the design and implementation of a model based security framework for Signature users, aligning user entitlements to the new Core Banking platform.
Rollout and governance practices emphasized retrofitting custom programming during package upgrades and managing release cycles on the IBM iSeries, with team supervision and career progression responsibilities embedded in the operational model. The narrative centers on United Auto Credit, Fiserv Signature Bank Platform, Core Banking, and the orchestration of application modernization, UI consolidation, security modeling, and multi-bank consolidation within an IBM iSeries centric architecture.
