The rollout emphasized centralized reporting and dashboarding so centers could analyze vendor performance and prepare standardized spend reports, shifting transactional workload from local centers to the centralized AP Automation platform. Governance and process change were driven by procurement leadership using Coupa analytics to set targets and benchmark against nonprofit peers, with procurement and contract management adopting the new approval flows and reporting cadences. Outcomes reported by USO include a 75% decrease in invoice process time, $136K in process savings, and 86.6% PO-backed invoice spend, with Coupa Invoice and the surrounding Coupa modules cited as the instrumentation enabling those results.
