Oracle Legacy Oracle NetSuite ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2008 2008
In 2008, UniTek Global Services implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment centralized core financial operations for the United States communications services firm, bringing general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable under a cloud-native application. Oracle NetSuite ERP provided the foundational financial dataset for downstream reporting and control. Configuration work focused on standard ERP Financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and financial reporting, with revenue management and period-close workflows configured to support recurring services billing. The implementation applied role-based access controls, electronic approval routing, and automated journal entry routines to reduce manual reconciliation. Financial reporting structures were defined to support multi-entity consolidation and statutory reporting sequences. Operational coverage included corporate finance, accounting operations, procurement finance touchpoints and project accounting for service delivery groups, aligning chart of accounts and accounting policies across US business units. Governance was formalized through centralized finance process definitions, a defined close calendar, and audit logging within Oracle NetSuite ERP to enforce controls and compliance workflows. Change management emphasized standardized procedures for month-end close and invoice processing.

ADP Legacy ADP Benefits Benefits Administration HCM n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, UniTek Global Services implemented ADP Benefits as its Benefits Administration platform. The ADP Benefits deployment centralized benefits administration, benefits design, enrollment, vendor management, and invoicing workflows to support HR and payroll operations. ADP Benefits was provisioned to produce the daily, weekly, and monthly reporting consumed by Payroll/Benefits Specialists, with Excel Hours and Earnings reports used to generate payroll and reconcile benefits deductions. The implementation integrated ADP Benefits with payroll processing workflows and coordinated with third party administrators for taxation, banking, and reporting in line with UniTek practices. Operational coverage included multi state payroll support for roughly 800 employees and extended support for field administrators and corporate HR teams, aligning benefits administration with jurisdictional tax account setup and close out activities. Governance emphasized policy enforcement, training for Payroll and Benefits staff, audit support, and standardized vendor management and approval processes for benefits design. The platform supported creation of ad hoc reports to assist internal and external auditors and formalized procedures for benefits administration and compliance reporting.

Oracle Legacy Oracle OBIEE Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2014 2014
In 2014, UniTek Global Services implemented Oracle OBIEE as part of a re-architecture and cloud migration of its Oracle-centric ERP environment to AWS Cloud. Oracle OBIEE was deployed to deliver Analytics and BI capabilities across the re-architected Oracle E-Business Suite, databases, and related applications supporting UniTek Global Services operations. The Oracle OBIEE implementation centered on standard Business Intelligence artifacts including a BI semantic layer, enterprise reporting, executive dashboards, and scheduled operational reporting. Data integration workflows were established to consolidate transactional data from Oracle E-Business Suite and supporting databases into the OBIEE semantic model, enabling consistent reporting and analytics across the ERP estate. The deployment architecture targeted multiple AWS environments, including production and non-production tiers, with explicit disaster recovery and backup configurations in the cloud. The solution architecture encompassed Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle databases, Oracle OBIEE, and the surrounding tech stack hosted on AWS, with the environment provisioned for failover and backup capabilities. Operational governance centralized BI ownership while delegating ongoing platform support and management to Apps Associates through MSP services. Change control, scheduled extract and refresh processes, and managed backup and recovery procedures were put under the MSP operating model to support the Oracle centric Analytics and BI deployment.
