In 2010, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 for ERP Financial. The program delivered design solutions for complex requirements and planned and implemented an ERP technical infrastructure to support a landscape of 25 SAP systems including BI, Solution Manager and ESS Portal, focused on institutional finance operations and technical orchestration across the health system. SAP ERP ECC 6.0 was configured to provide core financial capabilities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting and controlling, aligned with the ERP Financial category. Configuration work addressed financial close routines, ledger structures and transactional processing flows typical for large institutional finance organizations, with design attention to extensibility for complex chart of accounts and reporting needs. Solution Manager was provisioned to support system monitoring, change request tracking and life cycle management across the SAP estate, while BI components were integrated into the landscape to provide consolidated financial reporting and analytics. Governance and operational processes were structured around centralized transport and change control, role based security for financial and employee self service access, and technical operations to sustain the 25 system landscape. Design and implementation efforts targeted complex requirement resolution, operational scalability and coordinated incident and change workflows under Solution Manager, with direct impact on finance and accounting operations and extension of employee self service capabilities via the ESS Portal.

Microsoft Legacy Microsoft BI (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server Reporting) Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2015 2018
In 2015 University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences implemented Microsoft BI (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server Reporting) under the Analytics and BI category. The engagement covered all phases of the data warehouse development life cycle with analysts working directly with functional analysts and business users to define information requirements and develop new data warehouse and BI capabilities. The implementation included design and implementation of a Master Patient Index and a Corporate Provider Master, and development of ETL packages to validate, extract, transform and load data into a central Data Warehouse and supporting Data Marts. ETL processing handled heterogeneous sources including SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, MS Access, MS Excel, and flat files using SSIS, Pentaho Kettle, and DTS, and complex SQL queries and stored procedures were tuned for performance. Reporting and analytics were delivered using Microsoft BI components and complementary tooling, with SSRS and Web Focus producing tabular, cross tab, chart, parameterized, cascaded, drill down, drill through and sub-reports. SSAS was used to design, implement and manage OLAP cubes and analytical models to support asset management, incident management, and data center services, and to provide dimensional reporting for Directors, Administrative and Business Managers, Data Researchers, and Physicians. Operational governance emphasized direct collaboration between technical teams and business stakeholders, with configuration and management of data marts, ETL, and cube processing embedded into regular workflow for clinical, administrative and research functions. The architecture centralized reporting and analytical processing on SQL Server based Microsoft BI components, while maintaining heterogeneous source connectivity and modular ETL pipelines to support ongoing warehouse evolution.
