In 2023, the University of Ottawa deployed the Lecturio Learning Platform to deliver an 11-lecture online epidemiology package to fourth-year undergraduate epidemiology students as part of an academic course in Canada. The deployment was organized as a course-level content integration, positioning Lecturio Learning Platform resources as an on-demand instructional layer within the existing curriculum for upper-level epidemiology instruction.
The implementation delivered an 11-lecture series through the Lecturio Learning Platform using asynchronous video content to augment instructor-led teaching and support individual study workflows. Functional emphasis aligned with common Learning and Development capabilities, focusing on structured content delivery, learner access management, and curricular alignment with course objectives and assessments.
In partnership with Lecturio the pilot was evaluated in a 2023 study that reported a modest average mark increase of +1.2% among students who accessed the Lecturio content and universally positive qualitative feedback, while noting the difference was not statistically significant. The study provides empirical evidence for academic program teams and Learning and Development planners at the University of Ottawa to inform potential expansion, further evaluation, or controlled rollouts of the Lecturio Learning Platform.

| IBM | Legacy | IBM Maximo | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2012 | 2013 |
In 2012, University of Ottawa deployed IBM Maximo as its Enterprise Asset Management application. The IBM Maximo instance is accessible via a web client at maxprod.uottawa.ca, referenced from the university website, indicating a centrally hosted browser-accessible entry point for asset and maintenance operations.
The deployment is configured to support core Enterprise Asset Management functions typical to the category, including an asset register, work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, and inventory control for spare parts. Configuration patterns inferred from a webclient deployment include role-based access and workflow-enabled work order lifecycles, together with centralized asset data management.
Operational scope centers on university business functions such as campus facilities, maintenance teams, and physical asset stewardship, with IBM Maximo serving as the platform for asset lifecycle orchestration. Integrations with other campus administrative systems are not detailed in the available source, and governance is aligned with Facilities and asset management processes as commonly observed in higher education EAM deployments.

In 2015, University of Ottawa implemented Oracle OBIA to deliver Student Information Analytics and a custom data warehouse supporting Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities reporting. The engagement is within the Analytics and BI category and focused on OBIA Student Information Analytics SIA capabilities and a tailored MTCU reporting model.
The technical deployment included installation and configuration of OBIEE 11.1.1.7.1 and OBIA 11.1.1.9.2 on Oracle Enterprise Linux 6. The team built and integrated custom dimensional attributes and measures into Oracle OBIA SIA Admission data models, and designed a bespoke MTCU data model to surface ministry aligned dimensions and metrics for student administration and admissions reporting.
Integration points were explicit, with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.0 Bundle 27 plus serving as the transactional source, ODI 11g used for ETL into an Oracle 12c data warehouse, and OBIEE providing the semantic and reporting layer. The environment ran on Exalogic and Exadata infrastructure, enabling a consolidated enterprise data warehouse and BI stack that connected source campus systems to the OBIA Student Information Analytics models.
Operational responsibilities covered BI repository migrations, security and backup management, and documentation based handover. Knowledge transfer sessions and written documentation were provided to University of Ottawa personnel to support ongoing governance, model maintenance, and reporting workflows.
