In 2013, US Auto Sales implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial application to convert and deploy a new general ledger package, with the effort driven in collaboration with internal IT resources. The engagement centered on converting core ledger balances and transaction history into Oracle NetSuite ERP, establishing a single financial ledger as the primary source for accounting records.
Configuration work focused on general ledger design and chart of accounts normalization, journal entry and recurring journal templates, and financial period close controls consistent with ERP Financial capabilities. Role based access and user provisioning for finance and accounting staff were implemented with IT collaboration to align system permissions and segregation of duties for core financial processes.
Governance changes emphasized updated accounting process documentation and cutover controls, including reconciliation checkpoints and a sequenced cutover to the new GL package. Training and handoff activities were organized for the finance department to sustain journal processing and month end operations within the Oracle NetSuite ERP environment.

In 2013, US Auto Sales implemented ADP Workforce Now Payroll to centralize payroll and benefits administration for its 550 employee retail workforce in the United States. The deployment of ADP Workforce Now Payroll was established to support bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll cycles and to provide a single system of record for gross payroll, hours worked, accruals, tax deductions, and benefit deductions across HR and Finance functions.
ADP Workforce Now Payroll was configured to handle core payroll processing, tax calculation and withholding, deductions management, paycheck and earnings statement generation, and standard payroll reporting. The implementation included setup of recurring pay schedules, vacation and paid time off accrual logic, and routines to verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments prior to posting payroll runs.
Operational integration emphasized collaboration with benefit brokers and plan carriers for employee enrollment and changes, and with external auditors for reporting and compliance inquiries. The system supported weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year end reporting needs used by payroll and benefits staff, and provided a platform for the Payroll and Benefit Manager to communicate payroll results and tax information to employees and managers.
Governance and process responsibilities were formalized around the Payroll and Benefit Manager role, including oversight of payroll and benefits staff hiring, training, and performance management, and coordination with the Director of Human Resources for benefits analysis. Continuous compliance activities were embedded in day to day operations, including monitoring applicable state and federal wage and hour laws and updating payroll processes as tax and deduction rules changed.
