Governance and process responsibilities were formalized around the Payroll and Benefit Manager role, including oversight of payroll and benefits staff hiring, training, and performance management, and coordination with the Director of Human Resources for benefits analysis. Continuous compliance activities were embedded in day to day operations, including monitoring applicable state and federal wage and hour laws and updating payroll processes as tax and deduction rules changed.
