IFS Cloud ERP was configured to cover core financial modules including general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax management, job costing, inventory valuation, cash flow management and contract administration. The application was also used to generate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP, and to implement and verify adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley controls, with additional configuration to enable statistical reporting and financial analyses.
The implementation facilitated a transition from Relevant accounting software to IFS Cloud ERP, including migration of financial and inventory master data and establishment of information flows to operations and maintenance for KPI reporting and inventory control. Operational coverage emphasized cross-functional information exchange between finance, plant operations and maintenance, with reporting lines to plant, division and corporate stakeholders.
Governance and process changes centered on supervised execution of payroll, AP, AR, tax, job costing and inventory valuation functions, formal contract administration controls to ensure financial compliance, and education of operations and maintenance on KPI interpretation and cost saving opportunities.
