In 2015 Value Retail implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as its ERP Financial platform to centralize finance and business planning across the group. The deployment targeted group-wide finance operations with operational coverage focused on the UK and Ireland finance centers in Oxfordshire and Kildare, aligning the application with corporate financial reporting and planning responsibilities.
The Oracle Cloud ERP implementation was configured to support core financial management capabilities typical of the ERP Financial category, including general ledger consolidation, accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows, budgeting and forecasting, and capital expenditure controls. Oracle Cloud ERP was instrumented to support business planning and forecasting workflows used by the finance and business planning function, and configured to enforce CapEx approval and oversight processes.
A Finance and Business Planning Director acted as key sponsor and work-stream owner for the group-wide Oracle Cloud ERP implementation, establishing program governance, work-stream accountability and finance-led rollout sequencing. The programme increased Value Retails focus on ROI for Retail, Marketing and Hospitality initiatives and tightened capital expenditure governance and forecasting, aligning Oracle Cloud ERP with the companys finance and business planning functions.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing | Candidate Relationship Management | HCM | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, Value Retail deployed SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing as part of a group-wide SuccessFactors rollout. The implementation was executed across Value Retail's corporate HR function and its portfolio of premium shopping villages, including Bicester Village and other European sites, aligned with the companys recent expansion into China. The deployment was bundled with Employee Central, Performance Management and Goal Management, Recruitment Management, Succession Planning, Learning & Management, and Compensation Management to create a unified HR and talent platform.
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing was configured to serve core Candidate Relationship Management needs, including employer branding, talent pool creation, campaign management, candidate sourcing workflows, and candidate engagement automation. The SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing application was integrated within the SuccessFactors suite to allow transfer of candidate profiles and recruitment status into Employee Central and the Recruitment Management module, enabling end to end talent lifecycle continuity. Configuration emphasized CRM style segmentation and campaign orchestration for ongoing candidate nurture rather than one time requisition handling.
Governance for the program was led internally by a Program Manager who had been managing the SuccessFactors rollout since 2014, coordinating phased module activation across sites and standardizing recruitment processes and role based access for HR teams. Training and process change focused on embedding recruitment marketing workflows into existing talent acquisition operations, aligning sourcing, ATS intake, and talent pool build activities under centralized HR governance. Rollout sequencing prioritized integration with core HR records in Employee Central to ensure candidate to employee transitions followed consistent data and workflow rules.
Operational impact centered on talent acquisition, HR operations, learning and performance touchpoints, and succession planning workflows that now referenced a common candidate and employee record. The implementation established Candidate Relationship Management capability within Value Retails broader SuccessFactors footprint, with emphasis on ongoing candidate engagement, campaign metrics capture inside the CRM workflow, and streamlined handoff into Recruitment Management and Employee Central for hiring and onboarding.

In 2015, Value Retail implemented Oracle OBIEE as part of its Fit for Future Finance Transformation programme. Oracle OBIEE was deployed as the Analytics and BI layer to support the concurrent Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP rollout across nine shopping villages in seven countries, covering Financials, P2P, Project Accounting, and Planning & Budgeting.
Oracle OBIEE was configured to provide financial reporting, operational dashboards, and planning data consolidation, applying Analytics and BI capabilities such as dimensional modeling, ad hoc analysis, and a centralized report catalog. The implementation focused on mapping multi-entity retail financial structures into the OBIEE semantic layer, aligning reports and dashboards to procurement, project accounting, and planning workflows.
Integrations were executed using the Oracle Cloud integration layer to ingest transactions and master data from Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP into Oracle OBIEE, ensuring consolidated datasets for finance and planning. Governance and rollout were managed under the Fit for Future programme, establishing reporting ownership within finance across the nine sites and sequencing analytics delivery alongside ERP functional cutovers.
