Starcom Computer Corp Legacy Starcom Plant Partner Enterprise ERP Agriculture ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2015 2015
In 2015 Van Wingerden International implemented Starcom Plant Partner Enterprise ERP to automate and streamline production scheduling, space planning and inventory for its indoor plant operations in the United States. The deployment uses Starcom Plant Partner Enterprise ERP as the core Agriculture ERP platform supporting operational planning and transactional control across the companys propagation and finishing workflows. Configuration centered on production scheduling, space planning, inventory management and related finance and reporting capabilities. The implementation applied scheduling engines and capacity planning workflows to align bench and greenhouse space with planting cycles, while inventory modules consolidated plant material tracking and stock movements for procurement and cost reporting. Operational coverage was focused on on site indoor plant operations in the United States, impacting production, inventory control and finance functions. Integration points were managed inside the Plant Partner application, consolidating operational inputs and financial reporting streams within the ERP environment rather than relying on external named systems. Governance and process changes accompanied the rollout, with role based workflows and standardized scheduling procedures introduced to support smaller staff counts. The effort explicitly enabled staff to do more with fewer resources, delivering automated scheduling and inventory controls that reduced manual coordination and centralized reporting.
