| Oracle | Oracle E-Business Suite | Oracle Cloud ERP | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2022 | 2023 |
In 2022 Veritone implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as its ERP Financial system. The deployment formed part of an enterprise architecture modernization that also selected Workday for HCM and Oracle Cloud for EPM, and it replaced Oracle E-Business Suite as the company financial backbone.
The implementation focused on core ERP Financial capabilities consistent with cloud financial management, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, revenue management, billing, and financial reporting. Configuration work emphasized secure role and data segregation, reporting format configuration, and evaluation of SOX control requirements to support internal control objectives.
Oracle Cloud ERP was integrated with Oracle EPM for planning and consolidated reporting, and it was synchronized with Workday to align workforce and payroll related financial flows. Data migration activity included mapping and migrating master and transactional data from Oracle E-Business Suite, validating data integrity, and establishing import and export procedures to downstream accounting and other systems.
Governance and rollout were led by an Oracle ERP Cloud lead within Veritone's Enterprise team who served as the subject matter expert, coordinating testing, documenting issues, and using a train the trainer approach to onboard system administrators. Implementation governance encompassed creation of testing scripts, issue tracking, risk mitigation planning, and ongoing configuration lifecycle management.
Post go live responsibilities included periodic software upgrades, maintenance, application troubleshooting and support, assistance with imports and exports, and continuous training updates as Oracle Cloud ERP capabilities and adjacent EPM and HCM integrations evolved. The deployment prioritized configuration-driven workflows, data validation and knowledge transfer to internal teams to sustain ERP Financial operations.

In 2022, Veritone implemented Workday HCM as part of an enterprise cloud initiative to standardize human capital management across the organization. The Workday HCM deployment is aligned with the company’s Core HR strategy and sits alongside Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle Cloud EPM in Veritone’s target architecture, positioning Workday HCM as the system of record for employee and organizational data.
The Workday HCM implementation focused on Core HR capabilities, including employee data management, organizational management, security and role based access controls, and configurable reporting to meet internal reporting formats and compliance requirements. Implementation activities emphasized configuration to support SOX control needs, development of testing scripts, validation of expected results, and creation of training materials using a train the trainer approach to onboard system administrators and HR functional leads.
Integrations were scoped explicitly with Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle Cloud EPM, and the program included data migration mapping, extraction and load procedures, and ongoing imports and exports to accounting and other downstream systems. The deployment model reflects a cloud first architecture with the Enterprise team coordinating data integrity validation, end to end testing, and cutover sequencing across HR and finance touch points.
Governance and operational readiness were formalized through project coordination with PM resources, issue and risk tracking, and documented mitigation measures to support application troubleshooting, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance. Business stakeholders in HR, payroll adjacent functions, and finance were engaged for requirements, validation, and user acceptance to establish sustained operational ownership of Workday HCM.
