Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations ERP Financial ERP n/a 2021 2021
In 2021 Vinta Group implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as its ERP Financial platform for the organisation's finance and accounting functions. The engagement focused on aligning the application to construction and real estate business requirements and producing formal system guidelines and manuals to support operational adoption. Configuration concentrated on advanced Finance and Operations modules, including fixed assets, cash and bank management, accounts payable and accounts receivable, tax configuration, and Management Reporter for financial statement generation. Configuration management was executed across discrete project phases, with documentation created for module setups and ongoing system configuration governance. Data mapping and migration workstreams covered general ledger, fixed assets, AP/AR, and cash and bank management, and the team defined and coordinated execution of testing procedures with test cases to support overall quality assurance. Reporting design for Management Reporter included P&L statements, balance sheet output, and sales reports tailored to stakeholder requirements. Operational governance included developing training plans, running training sessions and workshops, and producing process and training documentation for users during different phases of the project. The Systems Analyst role owned project deliverables such as status reports, test plans, and system health monitoring procedures, and was responsible for maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, and the prioritisation and structuring of business requirements for developers and testers.
