Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Power Automate (ex Flow) Process Mining Analytics and BI KAISPE 2021 2021
In 2021, Visterra implemented Microsoft Power Automate (ex Flow) as part of a Process Mining initiative to automate day-to-day procurement and service requisition workflows. KAISPE LLC, a Microsoft partner, deployed its Purchase Requisition solution on the Microsoft Power Platform with minor customizations and completed the initial implementation in three days. The deployment bundled a Purchase Requisition application and a built-in workflow engine based on Microsoft Power Automate, providing configurable approval flows and a familiar interface delivered through Microsoft Power Apps. The solution integrates with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft SharePoint, and leverages Microsoft 365 collaboration patterns to surface notifications and approvals without requiring users to open a separate application. Operational scope centered on procurement operations, enabling requestors, reviewers, supervisors, department heads, and executives to access a consolidated view of purchasing requirements and to manage requisitions from tablet and mobile devices. Governance and process changes included flexible workflow configurations for approvers, email and Teams notification channels, and a centralized requisition review and management model that reduced manual requisition handling. The implementation explicitly produced a 40 percent increase in employee productivity as reported by Visterra, and the company is pursuing a Microsoft Power Platform adoption roadmap with KAISPE to extend automation across additional processes. Microsoft is the vendor platform for the deployment, and KAISPE LLC provided the solution architecture, rapid configuration, and delivery.
