In 2022, Vixxo deployed Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as its core ERP Financial application on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The implementation supported a North America focused facility maintenance company that processes several million data transactions per month from web and mobile app platforms.
Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne was configured to centralize financial management workflows, including general ledger and accounts receivable and payable processing, and to interoperate with revenue recognition and billing workflows. The deployment emphasized transactional throughput and database performance tuning to align with high volume ingestion from customer facing applications. Standard ERP Financial automation such as batch financial close orchestration and receivable remittance processing were employed to reduce manual reconciliation.
The JD Edwards environment runs on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure which also hosts Vixxo's core data warehouse, Siebel CRM, and Revenue and Billing Management systems, creating a consolidated cloud platform for operational data flows. OCI provides the underlying compute, storage, and network resources to improve application responsiveness and to support synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns between CRM, billing, and ERP. Cloud based disaster recovery and enterprise platform management capabilities were included as part of the architecture to maintain availability across sites.
Platform governance was centralized under enterprise platform management practices to manage security posture and to coordinate disaster recovery readiness, enabling teams to focus on evolving services and customer support. The move to Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne on OCI improved performance of the ERP Financial stack and provided explicit support for disaster recovery and security posture as stated by Vixxo.
