In 2013 TotalSoft implemented TotalSoft Charisma HCM at Vodafone Romania, completing the deployment on 6 June 2013 in Bucharest. The deployment used the Charisma Telecom configuration tailored for electronic communications customers to streamline HR processes specific to the telecom industry.
The implementation configured Core HR capabilities across payroll, personnel administration, time sheet keeping, training and statutory reporting to state authorities, and included an employee self-service module to surface personal data and improve internal communication. The TotalSoft Charisma HCM deployment leveraged product areas developed over 15 years such as talent management, eLearning, HR Business Intelligence and document management as part of its functional roadmap.
TotalSoft positioned Charisma to interface with customer back office solutions, reflecting a governance approach oriented toward compliance with Romanian legislation and interoperability with group-level IT controls common in large telecom organizations. At product scale Charisma manages approximately 10,000 employees in the electronic communication industry and is used across 600 companies, indicating its fit for regulated payroll, reporting and HR administration workloads.
For Vodafone Romania the implemented TotalSoft Charisma HCM centralized Core HR workflows and introduced self-service access for employees, reinforcing administrative consolidation and statutory reporting processes. These outcomes align with the product claim that Charisma manages salaries for over 10 percent of the Romanian active workforce and has been continuously invested in to address strategic human capital areas.

In 2021 Vodafone Romania deployed Pega Platform as its Business Process Management solution to support CVM and marketing campaign orchestration within a broader data analytics initiative. The implementation centered on Pega Platform to enable Business Process Management for campaign lifecycle activities, linking application capabilities directly to marketing operations and customer value management use cases.
The delivery emphasized end to end development on Pega Platform, including requirements analysis, solution design, campaign implementation, testing and ongoing support. Functional work documented in the project included CVM campaign design and orchestration, workflow configuration for automated campaign execution, segmentation query development and monitoring artifacts used to observe campaign delivery and results.
Integrations were implemented with the analytics and data tooling used by the team, with campaign monitoring and analysis performed using SQL and SAS queries and Excel extracts to validate volumes and results. The project team worked directly with vendor Pegasystems to address recurrent application issues, providing test inputs and fixes as part of vendor collaboration.
Operational coverage spanned marketing, technical and operations groups, with cross functional communication to secure the resources required for campaign sends. Governance and delivery followed Agile principles and a SCRUM team model, with stakeholder engagement for capability definition, iterative feature additions aimed at improving NPS, and ongoing support and testing as part of the rollout.
