The deployment was positioned to ensure the integrity and opportunity of financial information while supporting external audit service requirements, internal control, and the safeguarding and management of company asset risks.
Intelisis ERP 6000 was configured to manage functional domains including treasury, inventory control, foreign trade operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, annual budget coordination, and quarterly forecasting. The implementation incorporated operational controls for timely registration of discounts granted to customers and introduced cyclic inventories as a formal inventory control module within the ERP Financial environment.
Operational coverage focused on finance and supply chain workflows that span store locations and warehouse operations within Voit Mexico, supporting finance, inventory management, and executive reporting. The system centralized financial information distribution and the presentation of results to the board of directors, aligning financial reporting processes with audit and control responsibilities.
Governance changes included formalizing internal control processes, instituting cyclic inventory procedures to detect and prevent missing stock, and embedding budget and forecast cadences into the ERP Financial system.
