| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Dynamics NAV | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2008 | 2008 |
In 2008 VolkerWessels implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV as an ERP Financial platform across a cluster of construction and development entities. The rollout referenced Microsoft Dynamics NAV2013 for units including G & S Construction, Visser and Smit Building, Boy, Boy Venlo, Louis Scheepers, Bouwontwikkeling Boy, Bouwontwikkeling Van de Ven of Tilburg, Van Bergen Beuningen, KWP Rijssen, and Bonth van Hulten Nieuwkuijk, establishing a common financial and project accounting baseline across those legal entities.
The implementation embedded Microsoft Dynamics NAV2013 with a Core Model construction configuration and project based 4PS Construct composition to support project accounting and contractor workflows. Additional modules implemented or planned included Service and Maintenance and a Time Portal for time capturing, while Press Master and Paymaster were deployed for specific builder payroll and payment workflows, reflecting a mix of financial, project control, service, and time tracking capabilities within the ERP Financial landscape.
Operational integration centered on maintaining and managing the Core Model construction instance together with project based 4PS Construct for builder operations, with direct application-level coordination for the listed builder companies. Functional coverage included finance, project control, service operations, and time capture, with ongoing liaison between central ICT, regional offices and end users to stabilize operational processes and support project-based billing and cost management.
Governance and run book activities were formalized through a functional management role responsible for one or more business applications, coordinating ICT projects, providing business consulting and ERP support, and liaising with suppliers on substantive product issues. The program included coaching project based implementations of core systems, testing updates and patches, performing feasibility analyses, and creating and monitoring an ERP solution portfolio aligned with the Business Control Model to guide future module rollout and configuration choices.

In 2010 VolkerWessels deployed Centric Paymaster as its Payroll application across its organization. In 2010 the rollout was executed as a series of single site and multisite payroll implementations aligned with the companys project management framework for functional and technical tracks.
The Centric Paymaster deployment focused on core Payroll capabilities, including payroll calculation and statutory tax and social security processing, payslip generation and distribution, and configuration for multi-entity payroll rules. Implementation work followed standard Payroll workflows for payroll calendar management, pay element configuration and compliance reporting, with application configuration tailored to construction industry pay constructs.
The Paymaster program ran alongside VolkerWessels ERP projects using 4PS Construct, a SharePoint 2010 deployment and a Citrix application delivery redesign, reflecting coordinated infrastructure and business application workstreams. Operational integration points were organized to align employee master data and payroll document storage across ERP, SharePoint and the Citrix delivery layer, supporting payroll, HR and finance functions.
Governance was led through a centralized project management office with separate functional and technical streams, change control and multisite rollout sequencing to accommodate typology specific requirements. The program emphasized configuration management and stakeholder alignment across payroll, HR and finance teams while leveraging established infrastructure projects to standardize delivery.
