The SAP S/4 HANA deployment included configuration of core financial capabilities typical for an ERP Financial implementation, including general ledger processing, accounts payable and receivable workflows, and period close orchestration. These modules were configured to align with enterprise financial controls and reporting requirements while enabling integration points for customer and order data.
Integration work was a primary technical focus, with CRM Hybris on premise integration and development and dedicated middleware integration efforts between CRM and SAP S/4 HANA. Middleware developments were implemented to orchestrate data flows between Hybris CRM on premise and SAP S/4 HANA, covering customer master synchronization, order and billing handoffs, and transactional interfaces to support order-to-cash and invoicing processes.
Operational governance emphasized cross-functional change control and interface lifecycle management, with development tracks for both the Hybris CRM on premise integration and S/4 HANA side mappings. The program required coordinated release planning between CRM and ERP teams, and formalized integration testing and deployment gates to manage data consistency between customer engagement systems and the SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial environment.

In 2019, Vorwerk implemented Qlik Sense to centralize analysis of its Cookidoo customer journey and product usage as part of an Analytics and BI initiative. The deployment targeted business management, quality management, research and development, sales, marketing, internal accounting, operations and maintenance across Vorwerk locations in Wuppertal, Germany and Freienbach, Switzerland, with time to value measured in a few weeks to first dashboard delivery.
The Qlik Sense implementation streams two Cookidoo analysis applications, each with 15 dashboards and roughly 40 core KPIs, leveraging Qlik Sense in memory architecture to load and analyze data directly from source systems without intermediary feeder systems. Configuration emphasized self service BI dashboards for ad hoc exploration, standardized data models to create homogenous data structures, and data science capable processing to handle large and heterogeneous data volumes for customer journey and platform performance analysis.
Integrations were built against MapR Big Data, SQL Server and MS Excel sources, and the solution ingests both platform activity and device telemetry from Thermomix hardware within the Cookidoo IoT ecosystem of more than 2.3 million devices. The Qlik Sense streams are shared with about 150 employees at Vorwerk headquarters and 15 affiliate market companies, providing cross functional access to metrics such as registrations on Cookidoo.com, Cook Key activations, trial and paid subscriptions, conversion rates and favorite recipes per user.
Informatec acted as the implementation partner, operating as a certified Qlik Elite Solution Provider and specialised partner for consumer products and high tech, contributing dashboard design and regional implementation support. Governance and workflow changes shifted analytical ownership into specialist teams through Qlik Sense self service, reducing dependence on IT and analytical experts and enabling timely, department level insight generation. The deployment is slated for extension to additional analyses, including customer satisfaction and Vorwerk representative performance.
