In 2024, Wedi implemented Viamedici PIM 360 to centralize product information for its manufacturing business in the construction and building products area. Wedi deployed Viamedici PIM 360 as its Product Information Management backbone to support a unified global catalog, webshop and print channels. The implementation explicitly used PIM and DAM modules, with Viamedici PIM 360 managing structured product data and Sharedien DAM providing centralized digital asset management. Configuration focused on catalog production automation and centralized product data models to support multi-channel content assembly and automated catalog output. Architecturally the project integrated Viamedici PIM 360 with Sharedien DAM, Sharedien acted as the SI/VAR for the DAM integration to ensure media and metadata flows into the PIM hub. Operational coverage targeted European and global markets and the solution was scoped to feed product data and assets into global catalog, webshop and print publishing pipelines. Governance changes centralized data and media stewardship, aligning product data owners and asset managers to common workflows for catalog and e-commerce content production. The initiative targeted product data, digital assets and automated catalog production and reported improvements in time-to-market and cross-channel consistency.
